Is your child suffering from Autistic Burnout?

Dr Georgie Siggers, our consultant neurodevelopmental paediatrician, presented her latest research on autistic burnout recently. The audience of around 250 heard how thousands of children are in crisis, suffering from this misunderstood condition which, if left undiagnosed, could cause more harm.

Dr Siggers said: “These children aren’t ‘school refusers’ but are suffering from burnout, chronically exhausted and too unwell to cope with school.”
